An all-star cast of talented New York women will lend their impassioned voices to a reading of the classic play, “Twelve Angry Men” by Reginald Rose, as part of a nationwide initiative called 12,000 Voices. During the weekend of April 5-8, 2019, women on stages across the country will read a play about the power one person can have when they speak with conviction in our judicial system.

Tickets will be complimentary, but cash donations will be accepted at the door. All net proceeds will be donated to organizations including League of Women Voters, Voto Latino, and When We All Vote.

The cast currently includes (in alphabetical order):

Vanessa Aspillaga, Jennifer Bobbi, Lynn Cohen, Gloria Feldt, Lynda Gravatt, Cait Murphy, Emma Ramos, Caileigh Scott, and Donna Smeland.

More cast to be announced soon.

Following the staged reading on Sunday, April 7, audience members, cast, and staff will have the opportunity to update their voter registration. Information will also be given about how to increase voter registration and voter turnout. Time permitting, there will also be a brief Q&A session with the cast and creative team.
